English — What this service collects
This host runs an opt-in telemetry webhook for Mindflight products (for example GhostCrab MCP). It exists to understand aggregate adoption: approximate environment dimensions such as product line, optional GhostCrab edition (personal vs pro), software version, operating system family, deployment mode (standalone, Docker, etc.), and broad categories of agent host when declared by the emitter.
We do not use this endpoint to collect personal data. The design goal is anonymous, minimal, high-level usage statistics:
- No prompts, MCP payloads, workspace contents, repository names, file paths, hostnames, or usernames.
- No storage of full client IP addresses in application payloads (reverse proxies should avoid logging raw bodies).
- A pseudonymous installation identifier (
telemetry_id) may be generated locally by the emitter only when telemetry is enabled, to deduplicate installs—not to identify individuals.
Detailed JSON contracts are documented in the repository under docs/openapi.yaml.
Ingestion for compatible clients is via POST /v1/ping using schema versions described there.
